Statement from Ontario Liberal Leader, Steven Del Duca on the passing of community advocate, Emily Ng:

“I'm very sorry to hear of Emily Ng's passing this week. Emily was a strong community leader and a longtime Liberal whose work in Markham has helped shape our party and our province. Emily was responsible for planning Taste of Asia in Markham, which brought together more than 100,000 people, and she served on several community associations. I want to extend my deepest condolences to Emily's husband Dr. Ken Ng, her three children, and her many friends. You are all in my thoughts during this difficult time.”
